Welcome to the newly redesigned home of the Lake Michigan Tournament Trail! We know that thousands of unique visitors use this site monthly during the tournament season to stay up to date and that's why we took it very seriously when the last version of our site was hacked in February of 2016.
Thanks to everyone that called, emailed, texted etc. to let us know there was a problem. We considered restoring the site, but after looking at just what it would take to do that we decided it really wasn't that much more effort to redesign the whole thing. After all, it was over 5 years old and the truth is it could use a face lift!
Here's a quick look back at TT's web presence - versions 1 and 2
So this is TT website version 3.0. If you've been around long enough you'll recall that the original site was done with the old html editor MS Frontpage 98. Oh.... those were the days! Then we shifted to a WordPress created site, and now we shift again to what you're looking at now. This new version was created in Squarespace. So far I think it looks pretty sweet. There's a bit of a learning curve on putting things together, but overall its pretty cool.
Go ahead and take it for a spin! Feel free to let us know what you think by using the Contact button on the main menu. We'd love to hear your opinions!
Here's one more thing I stumbled across looking through the archives of Tournament Trail. It's a recap of the very first year of the 333 Championship Series going back to the first-ever winner Manistee Mama in 2005.
